We did it!

FCSG team at King County Council celebrating the passage of our ordinance to adopt a new lot size minimum in Fall City.

Thank you to everyone who turned out to support our work on passing a new lot size minimum! King County Council agreed with us that reinstating code to keep new homes in Fall City on lots larger than 10,000 feet. The subdivisions have an average lot size of 5,000 square feet.

While this doesn’t affect any of the plats that have already vested and are undergoing permitting, it does limit any new developments from being started! So much hard work went into this code package - thank you all.
